The 2016 SHO-MO awards will recognise the best in UK money blogging on 10th September – and these are the blogs that have been shortlisted for judging. Well done to all those in the running for the awards.
With such a fantastic response for nominations – 56 different blogs were entered – it sadly means not every blog has made one of the final six for each category. Some very good blogs have missed out, which just shows the quality of money and personal finance blogs out there right now.
In fact, so good were some categories that we created a new one to celebrate a well-represented sub-genre of the money blogging community – Frugal Food!
We’ll be revealing the shortlisted blogs for each category over the next week, so keep your eyes peeled!
If you have been shortlisted, you’ll be contacted via email or Twitter asking you to complete a submission. It won’t take you long but it’s your chance to impress the judges!
A quick note about shortlisting. Blogs could only be considered for categories they were nominated for, and only posts between 1st May 2015 and 30th April 2016 were eligible. Blogs were shortlisted by a panel of money bloggers.
