All about… Money Saving Girl
Tell us about your blog.
Why do you write about money?
I love helping people, so I hope I am doing that via my blog.
I use the blog to check things out myself and share the money saving tips with my audience. The majority of the ideas are tested by me or recommended by friends I trust.
How did you start blogging?
My blog is my hobby. Instead of just sharing my findings verbally I decided to document it on Money Saving Girl. Funny enough I often come back to certain posts to remind myself of their details…
What’s your most popular post and why?
The money saving report for 2016 listing my savings/earnings throughout 2016.
For some, saving £2400 may be nothing but for me it was a nice addition to the money I earn in my day job, especially as it was achieved effortlessly 🙂 .
What’s your favourite post you’ve written, and why?
The post about my wedding because of the sentimental value: and the posts about Black Friday research done by me last year- as I find it simply interesting:
Black Friday: Is It All It’s Cracked Up To Be?
Are The Black Friday Deals As Good As The Retailers Make Them Out To Be?
Black Friday & Boxing Day: Is It All It’s Cracked Up To Be? – Part 2
What’s your number one money tip?
Haggle over your bills and review everything regularly. You would be surprised at how much you can save if you keep monitoring your bills and haggle the prices at the time of renewals.
What’s your top blogging tip?
Research and plan your content, so it’s both engaging for your readers and ranked well by Google.
